Lead pastor

Landon Meadow

Lead Pastor & Elder

The Meadows have lived in the Clarksville area about 30 years and felt called to Vineyard Values before they knew about the church. Key components of contemporary worship, Biblical teaching, Kingdom of God theology and “everyone gets to play” resonated with them, and they joined the church in 1994. Since then, Landon has filled roles such as elder, youth leader, small groups pastor, staff pastor and is now, after the retirement of Don Jarrell in 2005, the lead pastor. His passion is to have a “church without walls” operating in Clarksville in many capacities and to see the gospel go to the ends of the earth through ongoing mission trips and discipleship training. Landon’s wife Melanie and children Caleb and Joshua also love and serve within the church.

  • DEnae huffman

    Managing Pastor of Compassion Ministries

(Benevolence, sick & infirm, hospitality & healing ministry)

As managing pastor of the Compassion Ministries of Vineyard, Denae is constantly “swapping hats,” and yet, the core of her role is to serve, welcome and care for others – it’s a role she loves. Denae oversees everything from hospitality on Sunday mornings to Freedom Tools, our in-house healing ministry. Directing our care for the poor and counseling also falls under her umbrella, and in fact, she is often found counseling others herself. Denae’s husband Wade (see Great Commission) is on staff as well, and she is the mom of four adult children and two grandchildren. Life is fun in the Huffman household!

  • Chris Hambrick

    Staff Pastor

Jack-of-all-trades describes Chris to a “T.” He teaches in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, actively participates in the Vineyard’s video ministries, is dad to four children and the husband to worship leader Karen, is gifted in building projects – oh, AND he is the men’s pastor! A long-time believer and a Vineyard “guy” for over 15 years, Chris brings a wealth of information and experience in his role. Feel free to contact him about anything “man” related.

  • Don and sharron jarrell

    Pastor Emeritus

In 1978 Don and Sharon Jarrell both met the Lord and were called to ministry even though Don was working full time as a electrical lineman in Southern California. Four years later they joined the Vineyard Movement under the leadership of founder John Wimber. After years of serving in various lead positions, they were sent to Clarksville to plant the Vineyard Church. That was in 1993 and the local Vineyard has been strong ever since.

  • Mark swanN

    Facilities Overseer & Elder

With a background of more than 25 years in law enforcement, Mark oversees our campus safety and security. As a previous bi- vocational pastor, he now serves as one of our three church elders, overseeing our facility management. Much of the current physical “look” of the Vineyard is a result of Mark’s design and vision. He is generally found behind-the-scenes, working diligently alongside others to provide a safe, clean, secure place for folks to encounter the love of God.

  • wade huffman

Managing Pastor of The Great Commission

(Missions, Church planting, evangelism) & Elder

Wade Huffman was born into a military family, and came to Jesus at a gospel meeting when he was 13. Since then, his life has been a series of wild adventures: going to college, getting married, medical school and Army service. He went on his first "mission trip" as a college freshman and has traveled extensively since that time. Since 2005 his passion has been serving the people of South Sudan, working at a clinic that he helped get started, and training and encouraging young pastors. His goal is to continue going to South Sudan until an indigenous church planting movement is well established. His vision for the Great Commission at the Clarksville Vineyard Church is that all of our people are "World Christians", seeking the opportunities that God will lay before them to reach their neighbors, community, the nation and the world with the love of Jesus and see His Kingdom grow, changing our world and our lives in the process. As we seek to be like Jesus, we share in His destiny and His blessings.
